Couples Prayer and Couple Dialogue with Children’s Diakonia

This is a retreat opportunity for families that is open to any interested family (including those already in Domestic Church). This retreat will dive deeper into the couple dialogue and couple prayer commitments, offering couples an opportunity to grow in holiness together and enrich their experience and understanding of these commitments.

Things to know:

• This retreat is intended to provide growth in prayer for the married couple to develop their conjugal spirituality, the prayer and intimacy that is a gift shared by sacramentally married spouses. The Children’s program will focus on developing a personal prayer life proper to the children at their age level and faith development. All interested families may attend. For the people who already said their “yes” to Domestic Church, this family retreat will be run like a mini Oasis Retreat and can be used to fulfill the retreat commitment
• Fully-staffed children’s diakonia with special programming for teens as well as service opportunities.
• Children’s activities include swimming, archery, canoeing and rock wall climbing.
• Joyful Evening activities with participant families.
• A non-refundable/non-transferable (to another retreat location) deposit of $250 is due via credit card at the time of reservation to hold your family’s place.
• On August 14, 2026, your credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance unless other arrangements have been made.

• The price of the retreat includes room and board for your family for 4 days. Catering is provided by Kitchen Integrity (operated by DC Members,Keith and Shannon Hansen). Dietary accommodations are available.
• Lodge registration include kitchen, living room, and private bath/shower.
• Cabin registration includes use of shower facility at the ridge.

• Lodges can accommodate a family of 8 or less (+ baby in pack and play) and include full private bathrooms.
• Cabins can host family of 10 on each side.  Cabins are rustic with concrete floors and contain toilet/sink shared by two families. Shower facilities are located in a nearby building.
